Project Award! $12M Metcash Distribution Centre

Jaytex Construction are pleased to announce our Partnership with Metcash to deliver a $12M upgrade to their Alice Springs Distribution Centre.

As development and construction partner, Jaytex are driving upgrades that will bring long-term benefits to the region. By partnering with Metcash from the earliest concept stage, we’ve been able to create a design that meets their immediate operational needs while providing flexibility for future growth.  

“This initiative is more than just an upgrade to our DC. It’s a commitment to the people of Alice Springs and the communities we serve in the Northern Territory,” said Grant Ramage, Metcash Food CEO. “We’re increasing capacity to ensure reliable access to essential goods, while also investing in facilities to better support our teams at the DC.”

Following the official soil turning last week, our Alice Springs team are excited to commence works on site to bring this significant project to life.
