Building our community
We take great pride in working with the community to make our shared home a better place. We invest in our people, and in our community, and take every opportunity to develop the local economy.
As a leading construction business in the NT and SA, we are committed to helping develop the skills of local people and creating more opportunities in the industry and in society. A key part of our long-term Indigenous Engagement Plan, is Jaytex Construction’s trainee and apprenticeship program, which offers young Indigenous people interested in a career in construction, the chance to learn valuable industry skills. In addition, on every project we undertake, we strive to provide employment opportunities, training and integration of local Indigenous people.
We are also extremely proud to be involved with a number of local organisations, charities and clubs. We feel that as a successful local business, it is our responsibility to give back to the community that supports us. As such, we also encourage and support all our employees to contribute to the local community through participation in sports, the arts and not-for-profits.
We are proud to be current supporters of the following community, sporting and industry associations:

Building our community
Buying local to support our communities.
Jaytex’s financial investment in the Northern Territory and South Australia extends to our commitment in our people, our community and our business practices.
Where possible, we engage locally owned and operated businesses first and foremost to support home-grown employment, Indigenous engagement and the economy. The Jaytex Construction Buy Local Policy ensures expenditure of funds result in the most advantageous outcomes for the community.
We invest in the community through long-term employment, training and up-skilling programs and engagement of the wider community through the development of local initiatives, improvement of local infrastructure, construction of state of the art facilities and supporting local enterprises wherever possible.
