Our History

It started as one man with a ute, a wheelbarrow and a vision; and grew to become an award-winning construction company with a rich 20-year history.

Starting in Darwin in 1997, managing director Brett Dixon began concreting driveways and paths. A kerbing project at the Darwin International Airport was the springboard to expanded his business into Asia.

Through his personable nature, strong work-ethic, and focus on quality, Brett has built Jaytex Construction into a company defined by exceptional financial capacity and a reputation for being fair, cooperative and flexible with contractual relations.

In 2015, Brett moved to South Australia to be closer to family, and undertook the design and construction work on two large, luxury bespoke residential homes in Glenelg. This move prompted him to hand over the reins to young business partner Matthew Moss, with a view to cement Jaytex’s position as builders of choice in Adelaide and the Northern Territory.

Matthew carefully built on Brett’s achievements and has steered Jaytex to become one of the NT’s most progressive and trusted construction companies, with an unwavering commitment to safety, quality, construction and project management, building design and customer service.
