Jaytex designed and constructed four new changerooms for Oval Two as part of the Territory Government’s $3 million project to upgrade facilities at TIO Stadium.
The new change rooms were built to meet the AFL’s Preferred Facilities Guidelines, which outline best practice in the design of amenities for both female and male users. Upgrades also included a new kiosk and ticket box and separate rooms for umpires, timekeepers and media.
TIO Stadium remained operational throughout the build. Jaytex worked transparently and efficiently with their operations team to ensure the car park, oval and footpaths remained accessible and safe, and scheduled works to ensure minimal impact on day-to-day operations during the build.
