Jaytex Construction successfully delivered this specialised warehouse for client, Tyremax, completing it on time and on budget while managing a complex build scope and extensive fire system requirements.
The facility features a 9.5-metre-high structural steel frame and a full warehouse fit-out, including pit-mounted dock levellers, a battery charge area, eyewash station, and five-metre-wide roller shutter doors. The project also includes a single-storey office building with modern staff amenities, ensuring functionality and efficiency throughout the site.
A key component of the build was the comprehensive fire protection system, designed and installed in accordance with Australian standards. This included the supply and installation of two double diesel pump sets, a maintenance jacking pump, and full suction and delivery manifolds with galvanised pipework and valves. The system is supported by two 367KL capacity circular fire tanks, ensuring full compliance and safety performance.
