The National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre is a key component of the Australian Government’s disaster and emergency medical preparedness and response capability to incidents of local, national and international significance. Key elements of the NCCTRC’s capacity to quickly and effectively respond, include the coordination and deployment of the Australian Medical Assistance Team (AUSMAT) capability.
Jaytex design & constructed a state-of-the-art facility to meet NCCTRC requirements, including a fully airconditioned warehouse and office with over 20 rooms and meeting facilities. We also delivered a medical training centre, pharmacy, surgical stimulation rooms and cool rooms to medical grade specifications.
The build incorporated a solar power system, state-of-the-art security and fire protection, and a diesel generator backup power system.
NCCTRC is part of Jaytex' growing portfolio of health & laboratory projects, demonstrating our capability to work with specialised industries to design and construct purpose-built facilities that meet the needs of our rapidly evolving industries.
