Jaytex Construction delivered Stages 1-2 of the new Nuriootpa Traders’ logistics hub - a landmark development transforming storage and transport capabilities in South Australia’s Barossa region.
Spanning 133,000 square metres, this state-of-the-art transport depot and distribution centre is designed to meet the growing demands of the local wine and logistics industries.
Key features include:
50,000 sqm of undercover warehousing
50,000 sqm of concrete hardstand for truck parking
A 700 sqm modern office space
A 2,000 sqm workshop with an automated truck wash and four maintenance bays
Community engagement was at the heart of the project, as Jaytex worked closely with local suppliers and partners to generate over $10M of local expenditure.
Sustainability sits at the core of the project, with initiatives including:
Extensive rooftop solar arrays to reduce emissions and energy costs
Specialised insulation and roof-raiser systems for improved thermal performance
Stormwater basins for responsible water management
Future-ready Wi-Fi integration to support automation and temperature-controlled warehousing upgrades
The project also included upgrades to road infrastructure.
