Jaytex female team members lead the way as NAWIC finalists announced
Jaytex Construction are thrilled to share that two of their valued team members have been named finalists in the 2025 NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction) NT Awards.
A huge congratulations to Operations Manager Belinda Wilson, recognised for her outstanding leadership and commitment to operational excellence. Since joining Jaytex, Belinda has been instrumental in driving company-wide improvements, leading the rollout of Jaytex’s Integrated Management System (IMS), securing Federal Safety Accreditation and ISO certifications across WHS, Environmental, and Quality Management. She also implemented key system management programs, streamlining project delivery and improving transparency across the board. In 2024, Belinda was named Woman in Construction of the Year at the NT Master Builders Awards, a testament to her work ethic, vision, and lasting impact.
Equally deserving of recognition is Jess Gibson, who has been named a finalist for her continued excellence in project delivery and leadership. As our youngest, and first female, Project Director, Jess has quickly carved out a reputation for her sharp problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong stakeholder relationships. Her work on major NT Government and private developments has been praised for both its efficiency and integrity. Both women are not only helping to shape the future of construction but inspiring the next generation of women to see themselves in senior leadership roles.
At Jaytex, women make up 30% of their workforce, more than double the national average of 13%. From site to office, Jaytex’s female team members are integral to their success, bringing leadership, skill, and a fresh perspective to every project.
Jaytex are proud to support a more inclusive construction sector and even prouder to see Belinda and Jess representing Jaytex on a territory-wide stage.
Here’s to all the women who are shaping the future of construction, your impact is changing the game.
