Jaytex celebrates two major wins at the 2025 Master Builders NT Awards

The outstanding contributions of two of Jaytex’s team members were recently recognised at the 2025 Master Builders Northern Territory Excellence in Building & Construction Awards

Now it is 29th year, the awards night held at Mindil Beach Casino is the largest industry event held in Northern Australia and highlights the incredible people and projects of the local construction industry.

Jess Gibson was awarded the Women in Construction Award, a testament to her leadership, technical expertise, and advocacy for the future of the industry.

Earlier this year, Jess was appointed Jaytex’s youngest and first female Project Director.

With over a decade of hands-on experience and a track record delivering complex projects across varying sectors, Jess continues to raise the bar in project delivery and team mentorship. Her commitment to excellence, coupled with her drive to support and mentor emerging professionals, is shaping the next generation of construction leaders in the Northern Territory.

Emerging talent Nathan Grant took home the Apprentice of the Year award, recognising his strong work ethic, reliability, and continuous growth across multiple projects. Since joining the team, Nathan has consistently demonstrated a proactive mindset, attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for the industry.

The award also highlights Jaytex’s ongoing investment in developing the next generation of skilled construction professionals through structured learning, mentoring, and real-world experience.

The award win sees Nathan progress as a finalist for national Apprentice of Year at Master Builders Australia’s National Excellence Awards being held in Adelaide in November.

By recognising and supporting both emerging and established talent, Jaytex continues to drive innovation and excellence across its projects and within the broader industry.

Congratulations to Jess and Nathan on their well-deserved achievements.
